SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT & OUR TROOPS

It is sad that the only pro Bush rally in our area was by Kurdish people. Displaced Iraqi citizens, but they know first hand what the butcher of Iraq is capable of.

 

I support our troops. I support our president. I know that I don't know all the facts. But I have a one year old daughter, a precious little girl who simple life is walking from couch to couch and smiling at her baby videos. Of course I wish to protect her freedom, but I just can't get it out of my head of her walking from couch to couch smiling, and then a bomb dropped from a plane comes tearing through with a mighty sound, breaking walls and burning everything, and I can't find her, I couldn't even hear her scream, and she is gone, or worse, baried in all the rumble, or worse, still alive in agony. My precious little baby. It makes me cry to think and I can't remember that last time I cried. What about the Iraqies with little one year old girls. Are they evil? Isn't there some other way. It pains me to hear that the Iraquies are storming the stores trying to store supplies. How scared they must be for thier children. All the weopons inspectors, all the diplomats, all the americans just leave. They have that ability. But most families do not have that choice. I am sure some on this board are soilders and have experienced war, but none of us in our lifetime (in this country) have seen our own borders hit, bombed from the sky so that we are not safe in our own homes. The one time in did happen, in Hawaii of all places, we condemn it as the most trechorous and vile thing, and so it was!

I am not peace at all cost, and try not to be naive. I believe that Saddam is crazy and dangerous. But for the sake of an Iraqui 24 year old who has a precious daughter of a single year old, walking from couch to couch with a smile, I pray that we do not go to war! There must be another way!

 

i'm sorry, I forget 9/11. We have seen our own borders hit. And we apaul it. We curse them. It was a terrible act. Should we not all the more wish to protech civilian life, even that of Muslims, since we have felt the pain so deeply of losing our own?

I can understand how you feel; I have children myself. Unfortunately, this is not a safe or peaceful world. There is a struggle between the forces of God and the forces of Satan. Sometimes we Americans get so used to our isolated, comfortable life that we forget this.

I am not implying that only Americans are on God's side or that everybody else belongs to Satan. I am simply noting that the entire story of history is a story of our rebellion against God and His attempt to redeem mankind, and, as is all wars, the innocent are often caught in the middle.

 

I support our troops and our President. This morning on his way home from work, my husband stopped and paid his respect and graditude to another convoy leaving from our small community.
He said that many were crying their eyes out. Our small town has placed yellow ribbons all along the route the troops take out of town and across the state line into Tennessee. There are also many posters put up wishing them Godspeed.

I get very annoyed when I see all these people on the news demonstrating against the war. I bet if a bomb dropped near them they would change their stance in a hurry! They should find better things to do with their time.
