Thats the best joke I have heard all day.

Some 90 % of all reps are re-elected. So how do you figure term limits?
If they are not voted out them there term is not over according to the people. If they are the term os over, term limits. There terms are limited to wishes of the people.
I am all for lowering their pay to about 50,000 a year , no retirment, and they have to go on Obama care at their expense.

Often the "name" is what people vote for - Party line is a "reason"; or a dozen other excuses.....
Evidently you do not know a lot about politics.

I will go along with the 50 grand a year, if they are also travel pay each weekend to travel round trip to their HOR.
I do agree with no retirement. - as far as medical care, you do realize they do pay for it.

Yes but not exactly. That is what they like us to believe but the government covers 70 to 75 percent of the costs.
This is why they should be on the same new health care law as we are. You can read here;

If that is what he is saying than that proves the government is the most corrupt as the unions have to rely on the government to just setback and collect on their evil. Who is considered the most vile? The pimp or the prostitute? If the government is pimping the unions then the government is the most vile.
The guy should have been fired the first time, regardless of unions. However, having said that, you pick and choose when you point a finger at a corrupt government . Here, you choose to blame the government, but when it comes to funding the military, you point the finger at the soldiers themselves, and give the polititicans a pass. So which is it? I guess it depends on which direction you are watching as you sit in your quarterback armchair.

I never give anyone a pass. Whether I say government or military it is no different as the militarty is part of the government.

That is because you have no idea how government functions, history, or political science. If there is a local community college in the area, you might consider Gov 101, a couple of semesters of American history, and Political Science 101.

Thank you for the advice.

Congressional term limits would require a constitutional amendment.
Actually, that is incorrect. Nothing in the Constitution prohibits term limits. It would only take a simple majority in both houses (and signature of the POTUS) to enact term limits.
To pass an amendment - you need a super majority. If we could not get a simple majority - good luck with a super majority.
