Why should anyone trust what Trump says?
---------------------------------------

Swedes are mocking President Trump's remark about a major incident that never occurred.

Trump, speaking Saturday in Florida, referred to the Scandinavian country while alluding to various terror attacks in Europe.

"You look what's happening last night in Sweden, Sweden! Who would believe this — Sweden! They took in large numbers, they're having problems like they never thought possible," he said.

Trump’s statement came after Fox News aired an interview with documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz about a crime surge in the country, but the "last night" remark confused residents.

Sweden has no right to be critical of anyone. Since they allowed the muslim invasion, the odds of a female being raped in Sweden have gone up to 1 in 4. They are overrun with everyday muslim violence, with neighborhoods where no one but a muslim will dare to visit.

It used to be a wonderful place to visit, but tourism has taken a dive.

Trump is telling the truth and they don't want to hear it. He never mentioned a terror attack.

What event? Tell us what it was.
I can't. It didn't happen.

He did make a "last night" reference as if there were an event.

At best, he's being careless with his phrasing. He's the President of the United States, for crying out loud. He needs to be more disciplined.

That's right, it didn't happen. He referred to no event. Specifically , he referred to no "TERROR" event like the one blazoned across the headline.

It's a made up story. People that want to be critical, including you, seize on every spoken error and magnify it to horrific proportions. It's ridiculous. Would you like for me to point out a couple of stupid statements your hero the zero made that you and the press never made a big deal about? and he was supposed to be such a magnificent orator. At least as long as he had his teleprompter.

It's not about Obama. This is about the current President of the United States.

You're wrong. It's entirely about Obama and the difference in the way they are treated in the press and by you. It's hypocritical in the extreme.

Such hypocrisy begs to be pointed out.

Do I support Trump? No. Do I like Trump? No. Do I respect Trump? No. Would I like for him to resign immediately and leave the adults to govern? Absolutely.

But Trump has more than earned the criticism he's receiving.

Let me remind you of the time Obama insulted one of our allies, Poland, by calling the Nazi death camps in Poland "Polish death camps". Remember that one? Quickly forgotten, wasn't it? And even more quickly forgiven. Verbal mess ups will happen. Even by an orator with the sterling reputation of an Obama.

You don't have to support Trump to stop being a hypocrite. Seize on real issues. In the scheme of things, this one barely deserves a mention.

Of course, everyone makes verbal mistakes. Trump, however, flies by the seat of his pants way, way too much. When you do that, you increase the likelihood of making mistakes.

I like a guy that flies by the seat of his pants. All the very best pilots do.

I am so tired of the scripted statements that have a kernal of truth wrapped in lies and tied off with a bow of political correctness that were the trademark of Obama. He couldn't tell the truth without wrapping it in a lie.

Trump will make some mistakes. So did the Zero, and he was ever so careful. I'll take Trump, even with his admittedly poor speaking skills.

For just this one control to be fact would eliminate at least 75% of the posts re: Trump on this board. It's a pity that some have so little self control and/or desire for honesty. :Frown
