Teddy teacher set to be freed.

TEDDY bear row teacher Gillian Gibbons was last night waiting anxiously for news that she will be freed early from her prison ordeal in Sudan.

Diplomatic sources said a breakthrough to clinch her release was “very close”.

Two British Muslim peers were due to meet Sudanese President Omar al Bashir at 10.30am local time today. A presidential aide said a possible pardon would be discussed.
