Teens are awesome!

    It never fails to amaze me to find teens today putting Christ first in their life. The more I talk to them and see what it's like out there the more respect I have for those that take a stand and are able to do this.

    Are you a teen? It is hard to live for God in this day and age, but the benifits are incredible!!!!!!!

    I'm 41, but I have a 15 year old daughter that is learning what it means to stand for the Lord, the true Lord of the Bible. I sometimes wish I could take the struggles for her, but I know I must let her develop her spiritual strength through her life challenges and experiences. It is exciting to see her grow. And, yes, my wife and I pray diligently for her every day throughout the entire day. Satan wants to shut down today's youth because they are tomorrow's leaders. Teens, please stand for the Lord Jesus. Love Him. Walk with Him. Pray to Him like you breathe. Develop the attitude that Michael W. Smith is singing about right now that says to the Lord, I AM DESPERATE FOR YOU! That's it! We REALLY need the Lord. He will get you through the teen years triumphantly! You don't have to be another statistic of failure. Here's one "old guy" that is pulling for you! ;)

    Gina, I know what you mean!!! I teach art in the middle school here, and the religious themes have taken over!

    Youth are reaching out to youth. I am in awe. I wish that I had had that kind of courage.

    I'm a big fan of youth. It's a tough time and I admire the kids who take a stand. It is a powerful way to face the trials and tribulations of growing up!

    Keep it up! Up with youths for Christ!

    I am a youth leader and youth Sunday School teacher and I can't believe how bible smart these young adults are. They are so eager to learn about the Lord. When we go out to knock on doors to witness and invite people to church the youth are usually the first to show up and alot of the adults find an excuse not to go. I am so proud of each teen out there who takes a stand for Christ. I know it must be very hard to do sometimes with the way this old world is but it will all be worth it in the end. It is easy to follow the crowd but it takes a special person not to. ~Sheila~

    Hardly any of them turned out!!! :( :(

    But we have a disposable camera lying around the house that we use whenever we feel like it. I got the cutest picture of Jake playing with the dogs... :D
