What team do you think he will land with and how do you feel he will fare in the NFL? Flop or success?

One huge difference between Terrelle Pryor and Jamarcus Russell is this kid is way nore athletic and works hard to improve, succeed.

I am afraid you may have answered your question, and just not realizing(sp?) you did. I would not touch the kid with a 10' pole!!

FTR, I have been a die hard Raiders fan for almost 30 years......

I am afraid you may be wasting your time, Sister. He should not have been drafted before round six last year. Being picked in the first round, puts more pressure on the Broncos to put him full time. If he was a sixth round pick, they could have set him on the bench, gave him time to watch and learn, and no pressure to play him would be expected. He may convert to TE at some point, but he will never make it as an NFL QB...same goes for Pryor.

It's looking like Quinn will beat him out for the #2. He will only see the field in their version of the wildcat.

Same with Pryor...he will be a gimmiky qb in certain situations...but this appears to be slowly fading in the NFL. He should have went to the CFL

I do not bet:tongue3: (j/k), but wait until he drops back in the pocket, the plays breaks down, and then he reverts back to that BIG WINDMILL windup, and watch him get creamed and/or intercepted. He is NOT NFL QB material, Sister.

No telling where he[Pryor] may end up, but I believe he will successful ! He will be really determined, and the kid has good ability, I project he is a tad more skilled in passing than Vince Young, and perhaps more elusive..

When? He's done zilch so far in the pro's. He probably won't even be the #2...so what has been disproven?

Everything I'm reading says Tebow is the backup, and that Denver may still shop Orton around. I really wish Quinn could've made it in Cleveland.

As to the OP, I, too think Pryor should've sent to the CFL. He has "Raiders" written all over him. I'm scared to death the Bengals may try to draft him as an ATH.

Proven what? That he can carry a clipboard with the best of them? Look, Sister, Tebow isn't NFL QB material. He isn't even the second best QB on his team. In college, he was as big as, if not bigger than, the average college D-lineman. Not so in the NFL. They are bigger, faster, stronger, more mentally prepared than the boys he played against at the college level.

I am afraid that the same can be said for one Terrelle Pryor. I wouldn't touch him with a 39.5' pole.........

I stated this on a sports website that I am a member of:"I wouldn't trade a 2025 7th round pick and a bag of Doritos for the kid."

Well, Brother, I do not want the Raiders to take him because they are already down a 2nd and 4th rounder in next year's draft. They will probably get two 3rd round compensatory picks for losing Asmougha(waaaah!!), and Zach Miller. I hated to see them go, put they got better money, and the Raiders decided not to persue them. I have a feeling that Ole Uncle Al will tender a 1st rounder to get the kid.....heard he is very high on him. If they do tender, I hope it is no higher than a 5th.

I suppose we kind of needed to let Nnamdi go due to cap struggles, and also Zach. I feel that Boss is a better TE than Zach, and I also believe Zach won't be as much of a weapon with Tarvaris Jackson at the helm. Youtube Boss highlights if you get a chance, this guy has great desire to get some serious YAC and hit the endzone, and fights for this much more that Miller did.

The weak spot is our DB's for certain. I hope Sterling Moore makes the team, he's a baller. (I'm able to watch the presaeason games online via www.preseason.nfl.com). Denarius Moore is lighting up camp at WR.

As far as Pryor, I think he'll be a hit in the NFL. He's a hard worker and has the speed and deep ball Al covets. I'm also glad and aware that this is Campbells last year under contract. His wind-up is slow, and Jacoby Ford bailed him out many times last year.

I was totally against picking JaMarcus Russell and am glad he is gone. I don't have the same feeling about Pryor at all.

I hated to lose both of them, but $$$$$ talks. I think our secondary will take a huge step back now that NA21 is gone. He pretty much shut down one side of the field on passing plays, and they still gave up 20+ points a game. They better blitz more now than they ever did, if you ask me. I, too, like Kevin Boss, but he isn't the same player Zach Miller is. If he had a good QB to throw it to him, he'd get 80 catches and 1,000+ yards a year.

I like Moore, too. I like that 26 yard catch and run over the middle vs. the Cards the other night. Rod Woodson was very high on Demarcus Van Dyke when he went and worked him out prior to the draft. He had good coverage on Fitzgerald on that 42 yard catch.....Fitz just is who he is, Fitz, and that's GOOOOOOOOD!!!

I think JC will be okay this year. Unless the O-line improves, you could put Montana back there, and he wouldn't fair that well. Plus, with DMC and Bush, there's one of the best one-two punches in the league. Marcell Reese will help them, too.

Jakiliryan Russellsmith took the 32 million quaranteed dollars and sat on his lazy rear, and ate himself out of the league. I didn't want him coming out of the draft, and sure glad that Ole Uncle Al cut bait with him and ran. I wanted Calvin Johnson in the first, and someone like Trent Edwards in the second....but Ole Uncle Al wanted the "cannon arm", and the "lard butt"!!!!

I believe our o-line will start coming together. We also now have Trent Edwards, the kid has good accuracy for sure, hope he stays healthy. Right now Boller is ahead of him on the depth chart though, but we'll see what happens.

I read that. However, the Broncos are still saying Tebow is #2 and is still listed as such on the team depth chart. It's an interesting problem. Do you take an enigmatic (and that's being kind) Quinn, or Tebow, who may lack the prototypical NFL mold but has tremendous athletic ability and heart? Unless Quinn looks like Peyton Manning in the rest of the preseason, it might be a PR nightmare to name Quinn #2. You don't use a pick in the 1st round to get a #3 QB...unless you're the Bengals or Raiders :)
