    Would a terrorist strike on US soil swing American politics to the right?

    If that would be the case, has the political swing to the left (as claimed by the new democratic majority in congress) been the result of the war on terror working?

    No, in my opinion, the "war on terror" isn't working.

    I have long known that tens of thousands , perhaps hundreds of thousands, of Americans will have to die right here in America before some will truly understand the nature of the enemy. It will happen. It's only a matter of time.
