I recently asked my neighbors' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do? '
She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.' Her parents beamed with p...ride.

'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that!
You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50.
Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house. '

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked,
' Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.' Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

Utterly amazing the everyday examples that blast the foundation of the liberals, but they fail to apply to reality. Talk about "heads-in-the-sand"---!

I got a good chuckle out of it

Such a simple illustration that even chlidren could comprehend.

I was debating Obama care with a person on FB and she was trying to link it with Jesus commanding us to take care of the poor. I explained to her that Jesus never once instructed anyone to take (steal) from one person and then give it to another. It is appalling that Obama calls himself a CHristian for one, but that he twist the words of Christ to fit into his ungodly policies is really evil.

You need to stress to her that Jesus did, in fact, command us to give the shirts off our backs if needed; but He didn't say we should give the shirt off our neighbor's back. Our neighbor has to make that decision for himself.

We need someone to reiterate the story from Davy Crockett and Farmer Bunce....

Yes, I have, surprisingly she has not responded back! Usually liberals just keep repeating the same lines over and over, like some sort of programed robot unable to think about it.

emphasis mine

Is this not true, for the most part with liberals??

Seriously, how much true logic do you EVER find in the liberal argument for ANYTHING? It's as if their heart is in the right place, but they have absolutely no concept of real life and how actions lead to consequences - good or bad!!
They seem to look for "UTOPIA" and can/will not believe that it will never be on this earth as long as man is running things.
