    My father-in-law was one of the mechanics stationed in Kunming, China during WW II, a member of the 69th D.R.S. He talked often about driving the Burma Road before it was completely secured from the Japanese and about Kunming and his unit during the war. Below is a link to a video. I found it quite interesting. If you are a relative of anyone who was in the 69th, or know a still surviving member, please tell them about the 69th DRS Association.
