Whatever else it might be, it is certainly blasphemy. That doesn't fall on Obama (thought perhaps he does not do enough to correct this nonsense). But believers certainly should not defend this. Regardless of what you think of Obama, comparing him to Christ is blasphemous. It makes light and mockery out of the death of Christ.

The real Antichrist

IN 2000 Al Gore ran against George Bush the Second. Both were proclaimed Antichrist by many groups very few groups did not proclaim BOTH the Antichrist).

Whose coming destroys the Antichrist? The Second Coming of the Lord in Power and Honor and Glory and the Praise of the Saints. So, if anything was true about the events of the election of 2000, Obama got RID of Antichrist Bush.

Even though I got caught in the anti-Christ craze of Obama being him, I already believe the Anti Christ was on earth at one time. Though if I was still a Dispie I would be tempted to think BO is the Anti Christ :)

Seems to me that during my life about 735 people have been identified as the anti-christ. I am no longer surprised at anyone being so named.

I agree Larry, and am offended and find this in no way funny.

I remember hearing similar accusations when G.W. Bush was president. I however, don't think one should outright be accused of being the anti-Christ.

Jesus says that many antichrists would come........ and there would be a falling away. The apostle Paul recognized there were antichrists in his day. No doubt there are existing many and there will be many more before the end.

Whatever this artist is trying to represent, it is reprehensible to me. However, in spite of the other resemblances, the only thing I consider establishes it as sacrilege is the crown of thorns, the tool of mockery and torture, as worn by my savior...... who, in case folks should wonder, is Jesus Christ my Lord....... and not and never Obama.

These things and accusations do tend to desensitize people to the real message of who or when the Antichrist might be or be revealed. There is a rule of thumb that I tend to keep in mind, he will disregard the natural use of the woman.
  • Reagan had Jane Wyman and Nancy
  • Bill Clinton had.......... well we all know his escapades.
  • W had Laura.
  • BO has Michelle

No world leader has yet been announced as out right homos*xual. And that would include the likes of Hitler.

Another aspect to the person of the Antichrist is that his lineage will be in question. No one will know who his real parents are.

Obama is pretty high on himself and provides an entirely new meaning for the word "arrogant". I am sure the comparisons made between him and Christ are flattering to him. If he did not think so, then I think he would probably recommend that the painting not be put on public display. President's have a little bit of power.

I really can't see Israel making a peace pact with anyone who isn't Jewish. I think the A/C will be a Jewish pope, but I'm willing to say I am not 100% sure.

But Obama is turning out to be good practice. He is showing the world how easy it is to deceive them.

The right would accuse him of suppressing freedom of speech if he did that. In this case, it is via artful expression.

I would like to here him speak out against this painting but I know he can't.

Why can't he? Did he give up his freedom of speech when he became POTUS? It is not that he can't, it is more about what he will want to do. If such things start to put a drag on his poll numbers, just watch how fast he fires up the teleprompter.
