A simple Google search is all that is required to look up the Asbury University Revival...

I first heard about this after visiting a Southern Baptist church where the pastor said he was interested in looking into it. I was at a Bible study this morning and the study leader brings it up... Have you heard about the Asbury University Revival? Come to find out this is turning out as something that is generating a great deal of interest as even the secular news agencies are reporting in on it.

I am glad to see any movement of God, even if the theology is not great.
From all accounts there is a movement of God happening and I rejoice in God's work. I note that Asbury is a very pietistic school, which can lead to extreme highs and lows in the Christian life. In this instance, rather than being prideful in Christian righteousness, God is breaking that pride and bringing a movement of humility. This is a good thing and something that we all experience in seasons of renewal.
Praise God for His gracious renewal that He is doing at Asbury and beyond.

Music is one of HS blessings of the Welsh churches during the Last Revivals. I’m not myself being critical however I’m being cautious because the United Methodists have fallen away in the last few years, with women pastors & bishops, homosexuals and Transgender acceptance etc. we will see if God has any interest in reviving the Methodists.. that’s his call.
