Good message KenH, Meth has got to be one of the most dangerous drugs and addictive as well that is readily avalable. Not only does it indanger the user, it also affects family and friends it will jepordize an entire neighborhood. this is a message that needs to be repeated over and over again---Talk to your kids and stay close to them if you love them.

 

Wonder of wonders... Newsweek vindicates a liberal Dem icon while continuing the questionable accusations of the Bush admin.

The question no one seems to ask or attempt to answer is: What happened to the weapons the UN inspectors said were there but have not been accounted for? If Saddam could so effectively hide something that was known to be there, why do people question his ability to hide things we suspected were there?

In short, the direct risk to US security by N Vietnamese PT boats firing on US Navy ships pales in comparison to an unfettered Saddam... which he would have been after kicking the UN inspectors out and summer came preventing a US invasion.

According to my history book the "Gulf of Tonkin Resolution" was not a "declaration of war". The last constitutional declaration of war by Congress was on June 5, 1942, when they voted to declare war on Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.
