the Bereans searched the Scriptures daily

Follow the example of the Bereans and "search the scriptures" to see if these things are true.

There was no NT, as such, in the Bereans' time.

What Scriptures were they searching through ?

Could it have been the Scriptures from Genesis to Malachi --- the Holy Scriptures Paul told Timothy that were able to make him wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2Tim. 3:15) ?

Preach it!

I love it when the obvious is stated clearly!

Nice going.

They were searching the only scriptures they had at that time, the old testament scriptures.

Now, we have the completed scriptures as our truth standard that we are all admonished to test all doctrine up against.

God bless,

Mike
