The cartoon says it all for me

Thanks for posting this. It is a perfect example of the Democrat Left today - gripe, gripe, gripe...criticize, criticize, criticize. But it offers no positive, forward looking agenda for America.

As far as the 2000 election is concerned I have some advice for the Democrat Left: You can't see where you are going while you keep looking backward.

 

Yes that cartoon says it all. It shows how manipulated headlines can be used to slander others. It also shows why the punk bands need to get out of the studio and stay away from cnn. Does anyone besides me think the people who put that together are completely unbiased?

The agenda of the left is to win the hearts of America by:

1. Victimization
2. Demonization
3. Make all attempts by the President of the United States to protect our country from future terrorist attacks into an assualt in our liberties. This will be done by:
a. reveal all confidential programs through national media which will tip the terrorsts off as to our means of tracking them. This will allow for more attacks and we will be able to say that his efforts are a failure.
b. show the terrorists as victims and in need of understanding. this will deter the need to take money away from social pragrams that can put us in a better light.

No, not really.

Headlines are like statistics, they can be used to mean what ever you want.

Unfortunately headlines are meant to be attention grabbers, not factual presentations of the truth.

 

ERROR on the Picture

BTW, folks, there was at least ONE error on the OP's "picture". When the newspaper headline said that the Supreme Court stopped the count in Florida and put GW Bush in office, and that Bush "had fewer votes than Gore", that was NOT the truth!

While the liberals and the liberal news media refused to acknowledge it, a full "recount" WAS accomplished (after the fact) by several of the media organizations, and showed that by EVERY method suggested by both sides in the Florida lawsuits, BUSH WON!. In fact, the ONE single method suggested that gave Bush the HIGHEST win margin, was the one suggested by the Democratic Party. (That suggested method was to recount only certain counties in Florida, BTW.)

Get over it, people. And, please do NOT forget that ALL human beings (except Jesus Christ, of course) do things wrong. That does, of course, include Democrats and other liberals. (NOT just Republicans :laugh: :laugh: ).

I really appreciate the mature level of discussion here. It shows the high intellectual standards held by both sides of the poliitical divide in America. I am glad that neither side would resort to childish name calling or respond childishly to name calling.

Well, I could say I did not see an "American's Only" sign on the forum.

I could say my wife is American and so it concerns me.

I could say many of my good friends are American so it concerns me.

I could say as a missionary with partial support in the US it concerns me.

I could say the BB is run from the US and I'd hate to lose it, so it concerns me.

I could say the US is all over the world with big guns, so it concerns me.

But I'll just assume SaturneNeptune is joking...
