Unfortunately, I notice that the first link you gave is one of those fellas that tries to tie the headlines in the newspapers to Biblical prophecy. Personally, I find that to be one of the great failings of dispensational premillennialism. Understanding how prophecy fits in with history takes a broad perspective over time - not a fascination with day-to-day or minute-to-minute minutia.
