The Confession

The Confession by John Gresham is about the wrongful conviction and execution of an innocent man, Donté Drumm, There is no physical evidence of the crime. The body of the victim has never been found. His innocence is proven before his execution, but Texas justice has too much invested in him to allow a last minute stay-of-execution. After ten years the guilty man, Travis Boyette, has confessed. His confession has been recorded and has told where he buried the victim. The execution takes place and several days later the body is found. There is conclusive evidence, DNA and other items, that prove that Boyette is the murderer.

Folk who are hard core in lusting for capital punishment will not like this book.
