The Cross Jesus Had in Mind

When Jesus said, “If you are going to follow me, you have to take up a cross,” it was the same as saying, “Come and bring your electric chair with you. Take up the gas chamber and follow me.” He did not have a beautiful gold cross in mind—the cross on a church steeple or on the front of your Bible. Jesus had in mind a place of execution.

Jesus Christ has the most accurate and mature perspective on suffering.

If someone whips you 50 times a day since you were born what is one more whipping?

God knows everything even that times a billion.

All powerful is what it is.

Jesus asked the Father to take that Cup away from him if possible, as he knew that on the Cross He would become the Sin Bearer. and THAT was not easy thing!
