The Day of The Lord Judgments, In Scripture

Those who study the scripture notice there have been several "Day of the Lord " judgments , not all pointing to one final judgment.

Some Old Testament passages that refer to the day of the Lord describe historical judgments that have already been fulfilled in some sense :

(Isaiah 13:6-22; Isa.34:4-8 Ezekiel 30:2-19; Joel 1:15, 3:14; Amos 5:18-20; Zephaniah 1:14-18),

8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand:

2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

3 For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt,

2 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains.

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20 Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

These judgments have been fulfilled in History. There is no doubt about it , whatsoever.
No shadowy double fulfillments, They were already fulfilled.

This will be one final “Day of the Lord”, when Christ returns, collects His elect and immediately follows the great throne judgment… Matthew 23-25

Peace to you
