Google Scum of the Earth Church in Denver. I know this church is a bad one but I cannot exactly place them at the same level as others in the area such as the joel Osteen clones, and the gay homosexuL churches. What say you? Is this church leadings souls to hell or are they just a wacky crazy church?

You do know you could just look at their doctrinal statement yourself and make a call without trying to get all of our opinons right?

Anyways here is their statement of faith.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, free from error in the original autographs and the final authority in matters of life and faith. The sixty-six books of the Protestant Canon contain God’s written revelation of himself.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Together they dwell in a tri-unity of love. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ the Son, begotten of the Father who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was fully God and fully man. For us and our salvation he became incarnate in order that he may reconcile us to the Father. His vicarious death on the cross paid the price for our sin-debt. His resurrection on the third day proved that he was God the Son, who conquered death and by his power declared our sins forgiven. Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father....
.

I see nothing wrong in their statement of faith.

Where I do have a problem is that they have women preaching. So if you want to write a letter about how women preachers are wrong, because we all know you are going to write them a letter about something and then come and brag about it here, feel free. But don't expect to be received very well. If anything it will cause them to dig in their heals even more since you will be proving to them they are right about the 'church' that has rejected the 'scum of the earth'
You know a better approach might just be to, I don't know Talk to People instead of yelling at them and or sending them condemning letters.

I see no need to write this church a letter about women preachers if their doctrine statement is sound. I will ignore this church and spend my limited time on a universalist or spiritual church.

Just completed a Ron rhodes book on the cult of spiritisism and there are churches around here that hold to this doctrine.

You really needed someone from Baptist Board to judge their Doctrinal Statement? You could not make that call yourself?

I'm thinking you need to mind your own business and focus on paying your debts, loving your wife and your own discipleship.

I am thinking you need to read Eze 3:16-21.

So you take a command given to Ezekiel as a command to you? Again you are in desperate need of discipling by someone. Also you need not be striking out on your own. What you do should be direct sanctioned by the church.

You do not understand scripture nor how to interpret it. Your efforts are sophomoric at best and could be doing nothing more than making a big mess and misrepresenting God.

Praise the Lord in addition to my Bible reading (which I do daily) I listen to sound teachers from the Reformed faith and also the Puritans. RC featured a street evangelist on his program last week and this man stands at a abortion center and everyday warns the lost of the eternal Hell and he preaches REPENTANCE from sin. Soon my partner and I will do the same at an abortion center. Just as I was challenged yesterday by a friend to continue to plant seeds in false churches so will I continue to witness to the lost.

I am so busy these days.... Got my question answered as I missed the doctrine statement on that site. Later...
