In a typical interlinear testament, the Greek text is provided and under each word a translation is provided.
Unfortunately since Greek frequently uses a different word structure you are left with a disjointed sentence.

This is remedied by numbering the words in English: it can be somewhat maddening.

Logos Research Systems has changed things in this new “reverse interlinear”.

The English text is on top and the Greek “translation” is provided below it.
A phonetic spelling of the Greek word is also included, as well as a parsing of the Greek word (verb, noun, pronoun etc), and the Strong's number.

Sure this method changes the word order of the Greek but for those who only occasionally dabble in the Greek, it can be most useful and speeds the process of finding and studying the exact word you were looking for.

The book does come with an electronic version of the English Standard version along with a KJV Bible for a Strong's Concordance, Nave's Topical Bible and a few commentaries.

For those just beginning to dive into the original languages, this book would be a fine place to start.
