The Gratitude Campaign

Thanks for posting this. Didn't know about the sign language. When I see them, I go up to them and tell them "thank you for serving my country" or "thank you for your service." Never have been shy about it or embarrassed to say it no matter where it is. If in the car & I see them in another vehicle, I give them a thumbs up sign. They know what it means.

But thanks for posting this. I hope it catches on. :thumbs:

And picking up their tab for a meal and paying the tip if they happen to be in a restaurant you're at never hurts either.

 

It took 36 years for me to get my very first "thank you" for serving in Vietnam.

I was speechless!

By all means, thank every one of our service people you come in contact with. They deserve it. They'll appreciate it.

 

Well, I'll sure thank you for you service. You (and my father and father-in-law) honorably served us in Vietnam, and I thank you for the bottom of my heart!

We are in a military town, so I get to thank our Marines and Sailors (along with our Coasties) all the time!

By the way, a BIG THANK YOU to all who have served our country!
