The Great Purge Has Been Made

I went to youtube a few minutes ago and found some of my favorite sites have been removed of all content. These channels concentrated on news and current events that the MSM doesn't want to venture into.

I can probably find some of them on alternative sites like Bitchute. Man, google and company are desperate. Many characters (black hats) are being taken down and the elite don't want that information to get out to the public.

I wish it was just a glitch in my internet system, but I doubt it. This is bad news. But I am hoping that we can get back to 'normal' as soon as possible.

Comments anyone?

Now everything has been restored. I am puzzled. Earlier, shortly before I made the OP some of my favorite alternative media for news and current events seem to have been taken down. It simple said "All content has been removed." Am I in the Twilight Zone or what?

The leftists want to control everything and this is just a window into what they would do if they ever got complete control of this country. They do not believe in free speech in the least.

Wonder what it is in leftist thinking that makes them so unhuman in their consideration of others? One guy on YouTube was noting that Alex Jones is banned from YouTube but Young Turks played part of one of his videos and YouTube allowed it to play and sent advertising the way of the Young Turks. Alex Jones is not a threat to anyone and YouTube seems to want to make money off him but they do not want to allow him on their platform.

You know that I follow Answers in Genesis, which has the Noah's Ark museum in northern Kentucky outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, and they built their own internet broadcasting because they saw what YouTube was doing and YouTube was trying to silence them on subjects such as the sin of homosexuality. It is called Answers.tv and it costs about $40 per year. It is supposed to be technically superior to YouTube. Other organizations are going to have to do the same thing sooner or later. AiG was offered the services of the builder as a donation so they were able to step up for not much money.

YouTube seems to want to argue content on the basis of statements that they disagree with and they disagree with a lot.

"T he Great Purge Has Been Made"?
Oh brother!

CNET Technology News • YouTube experiences brief outage across the globe

"YouTube users around the world on Thursday reported outages that briefly prevented them from accessing content on the popular video-sharing site....The brief outage, which appears to have begun around 4 p.m. PT and was apparently resolved about 30 minutes later, affected users on both coasts of the US, Western Europe and parts of Australia....YouTube said at 5 p.m. that the outage was resolved after about 20 minutes."

Know that both Facebook and YouTube have been active in making sure any sites or persons that not going with company LINE on Covid get taken down!

I think that this is from the Wall Street Journal newspaper but it was quoted on Front Page Magazine.

Both the Justice Department and a group of state attorneys general are likely to file antitrust lawsuits against Alphabet Inc.’s Google—and are well into planning for litigation, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Justice Department is moving toward bringing a case as soon as this summer, some of the people said. At least some state attorneys general—led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican—are likely to file a case, probably in the fall, people familiar with the matter said.

Much of the states’ investigation has focused on Google’s online advertising business. The company owns the dominant tool at every link in the complex chain between online publishers and advertisers. The Justice Department likewise is making Google’s ad technology one of its points of emphasis. But it is also focusing more broadly on concerns that Google uses its dominant search business to stifle competition, people familiar with the matter said.

Though the coronavirus pandemic has complicated work for the Justice Department, Attorney General William Barr has devoted considerable resources to the Google probe and continues to treat it as a top priority. Mr. Barr told The Wall Street Journal in March that he wanted the Justice Department to make a final call this summer.

It is not the control of content but the monopolistic efforts that are so problematic.

Also, it seems that to avoid legalities, Google and Facebook (and perhaps others) earlier argued they did not control content thus should not be held liable. Once they got their pass, they slowly began controlling content. Now it's all out.

There was no good reason to give them a blanket pass in the first place. Doesn't Congress know how to write a conditional? Just who do they represent? Wait, don't answer that. I don't want to know.
