For biblical advice I am better off asking Hank Hanegraaf (whom bye the way knows more about the bible than all you combined). For debt advice I read what the bible says and read what debt stats say. I know that debt rates are higher in certain states and areas than others. Bankrupcies are not all that uncommon, and not everyone that files is a bad stuart (contrary to what you believe).

Also contrary to what you believe, there are many people who live in remote areas that WANT AND NEED jobs, but CANNOT FIND THEM. They look everyday for ANY JOB, but cannot find them! My friend kenneth was looking in Shasta County for 6 long months for ANY JOB, but was unable to find one, until recently when he got hired at Target. However the job is only part time, and he sees no way he will ever get out of CC and student loan debt.

Yes kenny wants to get out of debt, but he cannot until God porovides and a way, and perhaps God will not. God does allow many christians to get into debt and not to get out. Many do try to get out, but many fail. We live in a tough society.

But if you live in remote states like Alabamba I do not expect you to understand California economics.

And quite frankly asking for advice here was a HUGE MISTAKE. You people are very ignorant. The credit lawyers know 10 times more than you guys do.

The internet is filled with all types. I mean there are people that will call you Idoits and Ignorant. I mean really? You would think that you were talking to someone on the IIDB board, a Non Christian when you say the things you say.

I am really sorry your experience here has been less than great. I would think it has a lot to do with the way you present yourself.

I have had my share of debates with a numbe of people here, but never have I started calling names. I have had issues with a Moderator here, but we got past that and know they each of us have our differences. I have had issues with some of the users here. I am sure Linda54 and StandingFirmInChrist think I am crazy sometimes, but in all of our debates, we have never started name calling. Even though we disagree, we still love each other in Christ. The disagreement helps us all grow stronger and helps us learn.

So the point is John, dont' expect everyone to agree with you, or say what you want to hear.

Goodness, if we are that terrible, then you are the one that is free to go. I wont apologize for not joining you on a non-Christian debate site so we can argue in front of thousands of non-Christians.
I am glad you have an advocate in Hank H., Also, I wonder what Dave Ramsey would say about continuing to accrue Credit Card debt when one knows it wont be paid. But please be sure not to neglect the Word of God in favor of man's opinion or approval.

I understand this...but it seems to me that many here are simply looking for their pound of flesh. I don't think the guy is interested in our advice or counsel, and it, therefore, seems unprofitable to me to continue debating with him and encouraging more ugliness. Pray for him...yes. He has quite sufficiently been rebuked for his ugliness and hard headedness on the issue of debt. What is the point in continuing this any further other than to pile on?

I find it hard to believe--or impossible rather--that a Christian would have no qualms calling people idiots and other various insults without remorse, whether towards another Christian or not.
