Lots of stuff to do. The Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum, Shed Aquarium, the Cubs at Wrigley, the Bears at Soldier Field, the Bulls and Black Hawks at the United Center, Adler Planetarium, the Brookfield Zoo, and the list goes on and on.

I grew up just outside of Chicago and still have family up there. As a school kid, we often took field trips to the big city.

The best weather in Illinois comes between April and October. Before and after that, it's a roll of dice, so to speak, on what kind of weather we get from day to day.
