In Psalm 115, Jehovah says the following.
14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
The kingdom of God is one of the four (4) major prophetic themes in the Holy Scriptures.
Psalm 115:
1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
2 Wherefore should the heathen (nations) say, Where is now their (Israel's) God?
Where is he?
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4 Their (the heathen's) idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 They (their idols) have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
That is the description of the gods of the nations, the heathen. But what about Israel whose God is the LORD, Jehovah?
9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD (Jehovah): he is their (Israel's) help and their shield.
10 O house (family) of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12 The LORD hath been mindful of us (the house of Israel): he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron (the priestly tribe of Israel).
13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Ye (the house of Israel & the house of Aaron) are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18 But we (the houses of Israel and Aaron) will bless the LORD from this time forth (from the time the dead go down into silence) and for evermore. Praise the Lord.
The first doctrine of God in the Bible is a one man rule over all the earth that he had created but was stymied by the usurpation of the Serpent. God has from the beginning directed history to recover the rule of the earth over a converted population. Jesus Christ, along with his purified bride will rule this earth for God his Father and when he sits on the throne in Jerusalem, it will be over an earthly population every one of which has chosen him to be their Savior at some time in their life..
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Zechariah 14:9
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
(the phrase "in that day" is almost aways a reference to the day of the LORD, the seventh day of human history when God counts a day as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day).
Flesh and blood cannot enter into this kingdom because it is not just a physical kingdom but a spiritual kingdom as well. Israel before Christ was a physical kingdom only and answers to why they could not attain to the perfection of the Law that was given them by God who birth them. A man must have both a physical body and the Spirit of God must dwell in it before he can populate this kingdom of God. He can do that only through faith in the biblical Jesus Christ, The source of the Spirit through his death and resurrection. Receiving the Spirit is the new birth. When God is finished with his work of redemption that will have been accomplished for all who are left on the earth all will be saved.
There is a false Christ that has been presented here by some that cannot save men, according to their own testimony ans so in theit theology there can be no earthly eternal kingdom.
Let's talk about this.
