The kingdom of God

In order to understand the Kingdom of God (~Christ), one must understand this,

If God is spirit, then the kindom of God is the kingdom of spirit! Man is spirit, made in the image of God! Therefore the subjects comprising God's kingdom is man! (of course there are heavenly beings too, but man is God's crowning creative accomplishment, the only part of His creation made in His image.)

Jesus, said, to wit, "Behold the Kingdom of God is AT HAND" meaning that the kingdom of God is in our presence, with us, thus "Emmanuel, God with us". Jesus declared himself to be the Kingdom of God. Therefore, those who willfully believe in and have faith in Jesus are subjects in the Kingdom of God! Once you understand this simple principle other scriptures become quite clear such as "the children of God", "Joint heirs with Jesus", "Kingdom of Priests", "Priesthood of Believers", etc.

If you are "in Christ" you are a subject of the Christ and in Christ's Kingdom. So long as you remain a willful subject of the Christ, retain faith and trust in, you remain in Christ's Kingdom, the Kingdom of God!

If you enter any kingdom, you can also leave that kingdom. Now I am not speaking of a domain ruled by tyranny, but any true kingdom where the subjects willingly and trustfully keep their King enthroned in their individual spirit is a free kingdom, and one can leave by simply removing the kingdom from their will and spirit.
