I was out witnessing today at a Denver city park and before we knew it I was stopped by a Park Ranger whom said we could not pass out tracts there. I pressed the ranger for the law and would not back down, and he eventually radio'd his supervisor whom said that we could pass out tracts and he gave me the okay to continue doing evangelism which we did. My partner got into a long conversation with a man whom witnessed the whole incident so the gospel was planted there.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I am wondering if in these last days more and more christians will be intimidated by law enforcement to STOP their evangelism or else.. The attacks will continue even if the christian has not broken any law nor done anything wrong as we did not. I did not open air, but I imagine open air preachers will be silenced as well by law enforcement hungry to silence the gospel from being proclaimed in the open air.
Jordan have you ever had an experience like this? Perhaps while you were out doing evangelism by yourself or with your team? No doubt even law enforcement will turn against christians these days.
