Hi to all , Luke 13:6-9 is first told in Isa 5:1-7 .

In Luke 13 verse 6 , Jesus tells a parable , A certain man ( speaking of the FATHER ) had a FIG Tree ( speaking of Israel ) planted in His vineyard , and He came and sought fruit thereon , and found none .

v 7 , Then said the FATHER onto the DRESSER/JESUS , Behold , these 3 years ( so far the length of Jesus earthly ministry ) I come seeking fruit on this FIG Tree ( it is Israel , finding no fruit of Repentance by the preaching of John the Baptist ) why are you ( Jesus letting it just taking up SPACE )

In verse 8 , Jesus nanswers the FATHER , let it alone this year also , till I dig around and FERTILIZE the Tree .

Then in verse 9 , Jesus says , and if it bear fruit good , and if NOT , then after that thou shalt cut it down , cut down by the FATHER .

There are many conclusions that can be drawn from Luke 13:6-9 .

This is that Israel will be set aside and in Acts 28:28 judgment comes , when Rome comes and sacks Israel and their Temple .

Israel has been set aside for over 2000 years and will be set aside until the FULNESS of the Gentiles be come in , Rom 11:25 .
