The Middle East conflict is framed as one of the most complex problems in the world. But, in reality, it's very simple. Israelis want to live in peace and are willing to accept a neighboring Palestinian state. And most Palestinians do not want Israel to exist. As Dennis Prager explains, this is really all you need to know. In 5 minutes, understand how Israel was founded, and how, since that auspicious day in 1948, its neighbors have tried to destroy it, again and again.

Watch and decide for yourself.

Actually Rev. it is not that simple. The extremists on both sides do not want peace, but the extermination of the other. Unfortunately it is the extremists who hold power in both camps.

Nothing but propogand and a clear lie.

I would be offended if I did not know of your extreme ignorant and arrogance, so I overlook this type of foolishness. Of course arrogance goes hand-in-hand with ignorance.

If there are no Jewish extremists, they why were 6 arrested recently?

Officials suspect the killing was most likely carried out by Jewish extremists in revenge for the killing of three Israeli teenagers earlier in June.

A number of minors were among those held.

The suspects are from Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem and the settlement of Adam, police said.

“Apparently the people arrested in relation to the case belong to an extremist Jewish group,” an unnamed official was quoted by AFP as saying.

or how about....

November 18 - A 19-year old Swedish human rights worker had her cheekbone broken by a Jewish extremist in Hebron today. Earlier the same day at least five Palestinians, including a 3-year-old child, were injured by the settler-supporting extremists, who rampaged through Tel Rumeida hurling stones and bottles at local residents. Palestinian schoolchildren on their way home were also attacked. The Israeli army, which was intensively deployed in the area, did not intervene to stop the attacks.

Rev, google Ayelet Shaked. She's a female Knesset member in Israel. Beautiful woman... also pretty much as fanatical as they come. Recently went to Facebook basically saying that all Palestinians needed to die regardless if they are involved with Hamas or other groups.

Are there more extremists in Hamas? Oh yeah, you bet. But to say that there aren't Jewish/Israeli extremest in power is just fantasy.

Ayelet Shaked is physically a very pretty woman, but as the saying goes beauty goes only skin deep. Scratch the surface and see what this woman is advocating and under the surface it is very ugly. Truly her desire is to eliminate all Palestanians. Sadly she is not alone in her desires to:

It was a bloodthirsty statement of intent, declaring “the entire Palestinian people is the enemy” and calling for their total destruction, “including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.” She calls for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to “little snakes.”

Notice how she uses recognized hate speech. If you do not believe there are extremists in Israel who desire the total destruction of all Palestinians read the quotes from the link:

Israel Controls America -- Ariel Sharon

A very interesting ... disturbing quote

"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." - Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, October 3, 2001, to Shimon Peres, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio.

I don't think Rev was denying the existence of Jewish Extremists. I think he, like myself, disagree with your statement that they hold power.

Wow you are either very decievd or an outright liar. I pray it is the first, but you are still wrong either way.

Harry Truman extended diplomatic recognition to Israel immediately. It is curious that the Democrats are abandoning the Truman doctrine on Israel since Jews vote Democrat.

Oddly enough, the majority of the Jews want the one thing that only Jesus Christ can bring to the Middle East.

I would like the two communities to exist peacefully together. However, there are too many extremists on both sides for this to happen, at least within my lifetime.
