    I supppose with less credit extended the answer is 'yes' we will spend less.

    We may find ourselves having to live on what we make and what it will buy in whatever inflated or deflated dollars we use: Thus we will find ourselves more careful in our choices of how our money is spent ......or must find a way to accept and be content with the limitations and shortsightedness of our 'bad' choices.

    Yes, we will spend less when the crash comes. I've been pessimistic for 45 years but this looks like the real thing.

    It is claimed that the half of American families who don't pay off credit cards every month owe an average $8000. A third of new car buyers are upside down. I have NO sympathy for people who buy toys on credit. They have had their fun.
