The New US Army PT test

    I'm not positive. But with a little time to train myself, I believe I could pass that test.

    Even at my advanced age.

    You might be surprised. A friend (a CPT in the Army) thought it'd be easier only to find out it was't. That said, he doesn't like it because it's now a logistical nightmare to conduct an APFT.

    It requires equipment.

    When I was in all we needed was a fairly flat path to run 2 miles.

    When I was in - we also had to throw (dummy) grenades for accuracy as part of the PT test !

    Well ... When I was in there were only two genders in the Army. And we could tell them apart.

    Yes, it’s funny how they refer to the categories as gender but list only male and female qualifiers.
