    THE PROPHECY of JESUS COMING AGAIN!

    "The Acceptable Year of The Lord" & "The Day of Vengeance of Our God."

    May I say that AT THIS PRESENT TIME, WE ARE IN:
    is: "The acceptable year of the Lord"?

    THIS CURRENT AGE THAT WE ARE NOW LIVING IN,
    is:
    "The acceptable year of the Lord"? (Luke 4:19)

    IT IS IN OUR TIME, NOW, that we are currently experiencing,

    that is also: "The Day of Salvation"? (Luke 4:19)

    Today is: "The Day of Salvation"?

    "In a Time Accepted"
    ? (2 Corinthians 6:2).

    As we see in,

    "(For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
    and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:

    "behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"

    2 Corinthians 6:2.

    This phrase in Luke 4:19; "...To preach the acceptable year of the Lord",
    is from where Jesus was reading and quoting from the Prophecy in Isaiah 61.

    You remember seeing where Jesus sat and read this passage from Isaiah, in Luke 4;
    and were He had begun in Luke 4:18, by quoting Isaiah, and read;

    "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
    because He hath Anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor..."

    Jesus was quoting Isaiah 61:1,2, here, in Luke 4:18,19, however,
    after the first part in verse 4:18 that He read, there,

    He did start reading the rest, that is down to Luke 4:19,
    but, Jesus stopped before finishing the rest of Isaiah's entire passage.

    Here is the place where Jesus was reading in the next verse, in Luke 4:19
    and where we want to take note of the point at which Jesus stopped reading;

    Luke 4:19;
    "...To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

    20; "And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down."

    Right there, then, is the point at which Jesus stopped quoting from Isaiah 61:1,2;
    in Luke 4:19; "...To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

    Then, before we look back at Isaiah 61, we see the rest of what took place in Luke 4,
    after Jesus stopped reading that quote from Isaiah
    and handed the Scriptures He was reading from, back to the ministers.

    20b; "And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him.

    21; "And He began to say unto them,
    This Day is this Scripture Fulfilled in your ears.

    22; "And all bare Him witness, and wondered
    at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth."

    Now, we want to see, real close, what Isaiah had recorded,
    after the point where Jesus had stopped quoting from him.

    We can see what happened, at the place where Jesus stopped reading in Isaiah 61:2.

    Here is Isaiah's prophecy that Jesus had read:

    Isaiah 61:1; "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me;
    because the LORD hath Anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek;

    "He hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

    2 "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God;
    to comfort all that mourn;"

    Do you see what happened?

    After Jesus had read:

    2
    "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD", in Luke, He had stopped reading,

    however, from Isaiah's prophecy, we see that there was a comma (
    , ) in our English Bible,

    AND THEN ISAIAH CONTINUES AND SAYS,
    ", and the day of vengeance of our God".

    Here is the complete verse:
    61:2;
    "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God."

    That comma ( , ) in our English Bible, between,

    "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD"
    comma ( , ) and:
    "and the day of vengeance of our God."

    REPRESENTS MANY, MANY YEARS
    THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE,
    BETWEEN THE TIME JESUS WAS READING WHAT HE SAID
    WAS THE FULFILLMENT of Isaiah 61:1,

    Luke 4:21; "And He began to say unto them,
    This Day is this Scripture Fulfilled in your ears.

    During His Ministry Recorded in The Bible, in The New Testament Age,
    JESUS HAD READ, from Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:
    19,

    "...To preach the acceptable year of the Lord",

    AND.....?,.....WHEN JESUS RETURNS THE SECOND TIME TO EARTH IN JUDGMENT,
    IT WILL THE FULFILLMENT of THE REMAINDER of ISAIAH 61:2;

    "the day of vengeance of our God."

    That is the part that Jesus had left off and stopped quoting Isaiah 61.

    JESUS QUOTED, Isaiah 61:2;
    "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD",
    WHICH WAS BEING FULFILLED AT THE VERY MOMENT JESUS WAS READING IT.

    THAT PORTION in ISAIAH 61:2 THAT REMAINED IS:

    THE PROPHECY of JESUS COMING AGAIN,
    AT THE END of TIME, and TAKING VENGENCE and EXECUTING JUDGMENT,
    on THE REMAINING LOST INHABITANTS of THE EARTH;

    "The Day of Vengeance of our God."

    We see it all, here:
    61:2; "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God",

    AND RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of THAT VERSE THERE,

    is where we can envision a Specific Period of Time represented by THAT COMMA ( , )
    in verse 61:2, above, THAT ADDS UP TO ABOUT: 2000 YEARS, or so, UNTIL TODAY.

    So far.

    There has been 2000 years, or so, since Jesus read the following;

    "To Proclaim The Acceptable Year of The LORD", by which Jesus was Announcing,

    "The Day of Grace", "The Day of Salvation", "The Acceptable Year of The Lord",
    which is? NOW. Our present Age. The New Testament Age. The Age of Churches.

    WE ARE IN
    "THE DAY of GRACE." "THE DAY of SALVATION".

    AND WHEN JESUS RETURNS?

    THAT FINAL DAY WILL BE: "The Day of Vengeance of our God."

    THAT IS YOUR PHOPHECY, RIGHT THERE!

    "The Day of Vengeance of our God",

    AT THE END of TIME, WHEN JESUS RETURNS to TAKE VENGENCE
    and EXECUTING JUDGMENT, on THE REMAINING LOST INHABITANTS of THE EARTH,

    IS ABSOLUTELY JUST AS SURE AS THE HISTORY RECORDED in THE NEW TESTAMENT,
    WHERE WE SAW JESUS READ from Isaiah 61:1,2; in Luke 4:18, THE FOLLOWING;

    "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
    because He hath Anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor;

    "He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,

    and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

    19 "To preach The Acceptable Year of the Lord.

    20 "And he closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down..."

    JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!

    WE ARE IN: "The Acceptable Year of the Lord",
    Our current Age is the "Day of Salvation" and "Grace",

    in which WE MAY PREACH THE GOSPEL, in The Ministry of Reconciliation,
    just like when Jesus came and said He was, "to preach the Gospel to the poor", etc.

    THAT EXTREMELY CLEAR PROPHECY of ISAIAH
    TELLS US THAT JUST AS SURE AS GOD IS REAL: JESUS COMING AGAIN!

    Isaiah 61:2;
    "To Proclaim The Acceptable Year of The LORD,
    and The Day of Vengeance of our God."

    PREACH THE GOSPEL!

    JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!

    WE HAVE "BOOK" ON IT!

    WE HAVE "A MORE SURE WORD of PROPHECY."

    "We have also A More Sure Word of Prophecy;
    whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,

    "as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,

    until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts." 2 Peter 1:19.

    Enoch seen this Day of Vengeance coming Jude 1:14-15

    14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

    15 To execute judgment
    upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
