the Resurrection of Life

Jn 5:28
Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice

Jn 5:29
and come out--those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

-------------------------------------

1Cor. 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

----------------------------------

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

This is only in conflict with the others if you
ADD TO THE SCRIPTURE.

Here is how it reads with the unwarrented addpin:

Do not be amazed at this, because a time
is coming when all who are in the graves
will hear His voice THIS TIME WILL BE THE
SAME MICRO-SECOND FOR ALL PEOPLE
EVER IN THE WORLD

Come on folks, a time can come for everybody in
the world to be un-graved but this could happen
over 1,000s of years and still be 'a time'.

On the contrary Wopik's list makes perfect sense to me. Two resurrection - the "First one" being the one at the start of the 1000 years - the one in 1Thess 4, the one in 1Cor 15, the same one in 2Thess 2 ... and the second resurrection being the one after the thousand years -- that of the wicked.

In Christ,

The reason I posted this topic was to show that

Scripture indicates that the "dead in Christ" are just that, dead, till the resurrection. No one is in Heaven playing on harps.

".....the dead in Christ shall rise first:"
