Scripture say that the sins of the fathers shall be visited upon the children to the third and forth generation... This OP is not singling out any denomination, but any man that wears the cloth, the way I see it, that abuses the innocent, should be stripped of the title, thrown out of the pulpit and as far as I'm concerned has shipwrecked his faith and if not thrown in jail or prison... Go get a job flipping burgers, if that is what you think of God and his people?... Saying that, the abuser needs help... I have been the victim of an abuser when I was younger but came to realize the longer I live that the abuser also needs help... I am not by no means sweeping what was done under the rug... Where did the abuse start?... Was the abuser also abused?... Were the sins of the fathers passes down from one generation to another?... Don't say it was passed down by Adam, I know all about original sin and that is not the question... Maybe you know of instances were certain sins were passed down from generation to generation?... Those who want to make it a R.C.C, Baptist fight, don't!... Any denomination that allows this behavior in their church is guilty!... Comments... Brother Glen:)

Consider what came upon the the children of Israel for the sins of their fathers because of the evil that they did to their brother Joseph, in that they betrayed him and sold him into bondage (Joseph being a fascinating type of Christ). It was exactly the fourth generation that was released from bondage and came up out of Eygpt:

16 And in the fourth generation they shall come hither again..... Gen 15

And there is NO way to deal with this, as the Pope, as far as I know, cannot get defrocked!
