Exodus 16:32-34 tells us that Moses, in obedience to the LORD's command, instructed Aaron to fill a container with manna and place it "before the Testimony, to be kept." (16:34)
What was this "Testimony"? I always assumed that it was the Ark of the Covenant, but we don't read anything about the Ark until Exodus 25:10.
Was the "Testimony" something different than the Ark? Am I missing something here (Wouldn't be the first time!)?
