The time has come for the De-Eurofication of Christianity. I hope to see a complete rejection of all euro creeds, euro philosophy, euro theology, and all eurocentricism from the Church.
The gang of four , Luther, Calvin, Zvwengli, and Wesley, have brought us little in bringing the church back to its roots with the Man from Gallilee. Christianity is an eastern religion, not a western one. It has nothing in common with pederast pagan philosophers like Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato, nor is it in any way compatible with so called enlightenment age Euro perv minds like Volitare and others who, given way to the doctrine of demons, even question reality.
I say this in hopes that some forward thinking pastors will join in this quest.
Euro Christianity has the dirtiest hands in all of world religion. Lets wash our hands of it.

One example would be the No Church Movement in Japan though I'm not sure of their doctrine. The other would be what I hope to see, something that not even churches in Asia have done a totally Asian Christianity, tatami floors, sitting seiza instead of pews, no euro theologians to mix with scripture.

well, i was on my cellphone and needed to play with the kiddies. ^^
I think the best case would be:
    1. STOP QUOTING THESE GUYS AUTHORITATIVE. Just stop quoting them in church. If we truly believe Sola Scriptura, then we can find the conclusions without them.
2.be honest about what the Reformation really did. There is no whitewashing history.
    3. Read Romans and Revelations thru, not jumping around. Cancel all pre, post, amillenialism, calvinism, arminianism, christian Zionism, all isms.
    4. We could adopt the layout of the Eastern Orthodox more without actually having to venerate icons. We need artwork in our churches that inspire awe, not just four walls and a sermon. Churches could be built using Holy numbers like 3, 7,10, 12. Stained glass pictographs could become an artisan industry again.
    5. Devest ourselves from Americanism and the belief in American exceptionalism. Become apolitical, and non nationalist. Disassociate with all political parties and movements. Christ's kingdom is not of this world, so let's live like it.
    6. If we really want to take the name of Saint John the Baptist as our denomination, we need to return to baptism as PART OF SALVATION not just a ritual.
7.Finally, i reiterate: CANCEL CALVIN, ZVWENGLI, ARMINIUS, LUTHER, WESLEY, and all Euro theologians from our discussion, along with ALL PAGAN PHILOSOPHERS such as Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato.

    Dear Hank,
I think culture is killing the church. a recent article said many black people who were attending white churches left after Trump was elected, and the main reason was they clearly saw the gap between the way white people and black people think. we need a deculturalized, apolitical Christianity. it has to stop being so white, so black. maybe something totally eastern would be a central rallying place. building built in a more contemplative style, non representative of whiteness or blackness. gardens for prayer and contemplation. awe inspiring, holy architecture instead of modernism.

No, Christianity is not an Eastern religion. It is Middle-Eastern, but unique there and indeed among all world religions. There is nothing comparable, nothing even close, and certainly nothing that can guide it. It has to be the other way round.

Your call to jettison whatever has tainted it in the West is understandable, perhaps even laudable, but you seem unaware of Eastern and other abuses, thus your nonsensical closing sentence. And there has been far more thought in the West than what you have cited.

It would be much more helpful to seek to weed out worldly thinking within the church, within ourselves, for it is found in myriad forms throughout. What good would it do to reject one worldly form only to embrace another?

Post a link to your article. Politics can easily divide, but not necessarily along racial lines. Emotion and tradition are much more common guides than is clear thinking.

And consider the observations in this recent post:

But I have to say, Luther being the inspiration to the Nazis and Calvin being the inspiration behind the conquest of native Americans (white man's destiny) is reason enough to try something. Japan's No Church Movement may be a start. I said eastern as a rallying point, a beginning but by no means an end.

I'll repeat what I have said in the past which I picked up from someone wiser than myself:

There is only one race, the human race:

    Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

But he didn't even use the term race. He mentioned black and white. How is it helpful to say there is no such thing as black or white when both (and others) recognize otherwise?

The first thing to try is avoiding treating anyone as inspired or beyond criticism. Anyone who would be a reformer should first understand the point of reformation, namely, to recognize that change or correction may be necessary, then to change or correct only what needs changing, not throw out everything. However, our own zeal may still take us farther than the Spirit leads.
There is no reason not to consider helpful input from any quarter. But to start completely over from a foreign basis makes no sense. If you must do that, then perhaps the best place to start would be the culture of the earliest church and their familiarity with all things Jewish. Isn't that where Jesus and his apostles started?

I assume, Ran, you're not acquainted with the Evangelical Christian-Baptists of the Former Soviet Union. I am and I can say they "do church" much differently from what we in the States are used to.

Then we start with the Orthodox Church, try to figure out what is apostolic and what was added, and go from there. We do like Bruce Lee and take what is useful.

Well, I was trying to help you out of your anti-whiteman dilemma. The Orthodox Church is Greek, so you’re right back to Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Did you not know this?

The real problem is that every culture has its positives and negatives. This is one reason that the anti-whiteman movement is ridiculous, as there is no perfect culture. To throw out all the good advancements simply because of some imperfections is insanely ignorant.

You might as well go whole hog and get rid of God altogether like the rest of the world, for that is really what the movement is all about. Or hadn’t you noticed? You wouldn’t be the first.

Absolute nonsense. If you believe everything you read. You'll believe anything. Our Church is about 10% black and it's still 10% black I know everyone there and I know when members aren't there anymore. The real problem I think you do not see is that the media is always trying to take control with there propaganda. This whole thing about global warming for instance most of the country is convinced of it. However the magnetic poles actually has more Ice pack than ever. There is no global warming it's all manipulation by the Media. In fact we maybe on our way to a lot colder wheather.
Wake up and see the Media for what it is. It's often more lies than truth. Hilary and Bill are communist infiltrators. It was the Clinton's that turned our SSI numbers into Identification numbers. And because of it we have more Identification fraud than ever. I've never seen a democrat with more hatred than Hilary Clinton. Maybe you'd like a communist for president but not me.
I like freedom I like capitalism If you want change, change your self first. Love your neighbors white or black. Actually LOVE is the only answer.
