THE TRUTH ABOUT NORTHERN ABOLITIONISM!

WHAT DID THE NORTHERN ABOLITIONISTS

REALLY BELIEVE AND SAY?

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF,
THEIR GOAL WAS NOT "FREEDOM
FOR ALL MEN" BUT THE DESTRUCTION
OF SOUTHERN CULTURE AND
CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

Of all the social and political movements to transpire upon the American continent, the destructive forces of nineteenth century Northern abolitionism has been the most devastating and lasting in its results in undermining the moral, social, political and spiritual fabric of our nation. Posing as a religious and humanitarian cause in order to abolish the institution of slavery, the zealots of abolitionism were willing to bring about the downfall of the American Republic for which they feignly fought to save.

The forces of abolitionism were so furious that men and women at every level of Northern society were overwhelmed by its deviant and deceitful philosophy. They believed that any 'means justified the end'. This included not only the intelligentsia of the movement such as the politicians in Congress, 'Christian' ministers preaching their fiery perverted 'gospel,' businessmen committed to financing the cause, but insurrectionists committing brutal acts of murder and criminal terrorism.

Regardless of the severe price that the nation, both North and South, would have to pay in order to accomplish their goal, they believed that war would eventually bring about their desired utopia. Thus the liberal media convinced the majority of the Northern populace to support Lincoln's war of aggression upon the South to eradicate the evils of slavery. To this day the liberal media manufactured issue of slavery is set forth as the primary cause of the so-called 'Civil War'.

Ten years before the war, the prominent Presbyterian pastor and theology professor, James H. Thornwell of Columbia Theological Seminary in South Carolina, said:

"The parties to this conflict are not merely abolitionists and slaveholders - they are atheists, socialists, communists, red Republicans, Jacobins, on the one side, and the friends of order and regulated freedom on the other. In one word, the world is a battleground - Christianity and atheism are the combatants and the progress of humanity is at stake."

Your historian would have a tad bit more credibility is he didn't offer this in his statement of faith:

WE BELIEVE that the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Celtic, Scandinavian and related peoples are the only people that fulfill all the prophetic earmarks that identify them with being the literal physical descendants of the ancient people of Old Testament history known as Israelites (Genesis Chapters 48 & 49; Deuteronomy 7:6-8).

Ten years before the war would be in the 1850's - did "communists, socialists [and] Red Republicans" have any prominence in the US back then?

Where did you find that on the site, Daisy? I didn't see anything about "race mixing" on there. Did they say that?

It is not inconceivable that "socialist" and "communist" could show up in antebelllum literature; after the European revolutions of 1848, those ideologies were active. The Communist Manifesto was published in 1848.

However, the provenance that I could find for this quotation is from Fifteen Ministers, a seriously flawed group that, apparently, espouses the worst forms of Christian reconstructionism.

I hope I'm not breaking the rules by posting the following quotation. I'm sure the administrators of this board do NOT agree with the administrators of that board. I'm posting this as an example of bigotry found there.

It is easy to find many religious people of various Christian Protestant persuasions who stand with Biblical solidarity on the right side of the issues of homosexuality, abortion and even capital punishment; but when it comes to the issue of racial purity and separation, they suddenly bow to the golden image of political correctness, religious acceptability and ministerial success while hundreds, even thousands of our white young people practice their "Christian love" in interracial marital relationships, despising their ancestral heritage and helping to bring an end to their racially pure lineage. This irreversible process ends in the "brown man" ideal which is the stated goal of the aptly named United Nations, in total and absolute defiance and repudiation of the known will of God!

Rule One: There are *no* objective accounts of the history of the US in regards to Slavery and the Civil War. Period.

Try as we might our society is simply too color conscious to be objective.

The best we can do is that once someone identifies themselves as a Christian is to treat them like a fellow believer, esteeming them as better than oneself.

So the races are different KINDS? We condemn evolutionists for erring on what a "kind" is (and often racism has been blamed on evolutionism as teaching certain races wer lower species, but we see its real origin is this assumption). And this site says the issue was Christianity vs. atheism?

Good, you bumped this up. Unfortunately, the great points on the link were overshadowed by some of their theology.

No one, however, has proven any of their historical points wrong, it is to be noted.

And the brave souls of the South were NOT cockroaches, I might add.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an adult discussion on the merits of the original link? Fat chance.
