    Jim 1999, The Unit is a TV program on the CBS Network, Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. (9 pmEastern) It's about a secret special operations unit of the US Army, with sidebar stories about the wives of the men in the unit, and the relationships that develop. It's part action-adventure with some chick-flick stuff thrown in.

    Oh, guess I better define chick flick. It's a movie or TV show that's designed to appeal to women. The Unit has subplots aimed at women.

    L&O CI is Law and Order, Criminal Intent on the NBC Network at the same time, thus the dilemma for fans of both shows.
