I have been thinking long and hard about this lately and have come to the conclusion that the United States of America needs to take out each and every country harboring terrorists and set up U.S. controlled regimes. At the same time, we should scrap the leftist, useless United Nations. The White House should instead have that sort of role in the world. This is the only way to ensure world peace and maintain our security.

Besides, that was the dream of the U.S. founding Fathers, their original intent in founding our Christian nation.

    Let me elaborate.

Ever since the Mayflower Compact, God has had His hand on America in a way unlike any other nation on earth, except Israel. We are founded on God and the Bible, while secular humanist and other non-Christian nations are not. So America is a chosen nation with a special relationship to God. That is what our founding fathers did.

But moslems are naturally extremists, since that is what the religion naturally produces. So the way to deal with the moslem threat is to remove the possibility of them ever being a threat.

We at the least need regime changes throughout all the moslem world. We need to set up regimes there founded on the superior Christian principles of America. We need to once and for all finish up what the 11th to 13th century crusades never completed. Along with that, we should support Israel to do whatever they need to do, since they are God's chosen nation even more than America is.

We are the ones with the truth, so it is time for we as Christian America to stop pussyfooting around. If cancer is somewhere, you don't throw asprin at it. You break out the chemotherapy and radiation and blast it. To get rid of these moslem extremists you have to get rid of the moslem extremists.

And God works through people and nations He has blessed to accomplish His will. God has called America to carry out the War on Terror and President George W. Bush is His leader. George W. Bush is a godly Christian man. Christianity is supposed to spread all over the world, and America is a Christian nation; so American should spread all over the world.

Pray for our troops, and for Israel!

You don't know what you're saying. In the first place, the "tall man" wants the Saudia regime dead and out of the way because he perceives that the regime, and the US, which is an infidel country, have defiled that Muslim country and Islam just by being there.
Secondly, the United States, whether you like it or not, whether you know it or not, is perceived as an imperialist, a manipulator of governments, a puppet master in so-called banana republics, and so the US is a target of not only Islamists but also other fascists like communists. The US is one of the biggest recruiter, by its very presence, whether visible or invisible, of marxist rebels, in developing countries.
In my youth, I have marched down the streets of Manila, in my home country, the Philippines, have been clubbed, hosed, handcuffed, beaten by police and hunted by military intelligence because I marched against the Marcos-US regime, as we called it then.

Your suggestion about setting up pro-US regimes after taking out Muslim countries is just pure fantasy, and absolutely un-American, and will hurt this country more than it will help it.

At worst we can do what we are doing now, taking the war to them, instead of letting 9/11 happen again.

At best, we can start 'profiling' here in our country. Let's face it, if we want to preserve our freedoms, we need to give up some. Let all Muslims know that they're welcome to stay, but, that they are being watched, and that we are suspicious of them, and we are not naive about them and their religion of "peace", and they have no one else to blame but their radical idiots.

That way perhaps they'll start policing themselves, and being good guests of this country if they are not citizens or permanent residents, and if they are, then they maybe will start being good citizens and residents and honor the country that is giving them a better life than they can ever hope to have in theirs.

    What gave you that idea?

That he sounds like someone already on the board?

    He has only two posts?

He is out to lunch and proposing the regime of the anti-christ?

For those of you who guessed they should not take this post at face value, congratulations. To those who did not, don't worry about it a bit.

But I wish this post were just mere sarcasm.

Regrettably, it is how we, Christians and Americans, are perceived by many in the Islamic world.

What have we done to contribute to this perception? Don't those who ideate these thoughts as substantive have a point? Don't these thoughts follow from many of our positions and actions, even from the "logic" of the so called "War on Terror" (which I prefer to call "The War Against Kickback")?

Terrorists do not blow people up because of what we have done or who we are. They blow people up because of who they are.

So, Rev and Eagle, it sounds like you might agree with many things in the lead post, or perhaps most of it.

Would you mind elaborating on which things you agree with in the post and which things you disagree with?

    Just got it.

World Domination is a bad idea unless, of course, you enjoy oppression and mass destruction.

    war on "being afraid?

How do we win a war on being terrorized - being afraid? We need a president who says "Nothing to fear but fear, itself," instead of a president who tells us to be afraid of everything.

That would for sure be better, but that is not really THAT much of a big deal in the big picture. Someone can think their dog is actually fried green tomatoes but the dog is still a dog. Perception does not always equal reality.

You mean the old stonewalling and face-saving tactic you are using?

    You said,

"How you came to the conclusion that this statement tells you that I agree with anything in the op is beyond me."

    From the piece:

"The superior Christian principles of America...."

    "America is a Christian nation...."

    And from your signature:

"I believe America was founded on biblical, Christian precepts by devout Christians."

    Uh, yea, I got you.

"and America is a Christian nation"

(squirming in his seat).......nahhhh...I have a hard time with that one... America is a religious nation....rather than a Christian one. Honestly, religious expression has been the complete and utter downfall of biblical Christianity in America. The simple fact that our leaders (including President Bush) have the obligation to make EVERYONE happy, will keep biblical Christianity quietly in a corner and used only as a voting block in primary and general elections. What's the solution? God ordained the Church to be His voice, not political office; and that voice is to be a praying voice, not an activist voice (IMHO). Politic forces the engagement of true Christians to be unequally yoked with the doctrinally corrupt and the unsaved to accomplish common political goals. It's never right to compromise clear commands even for a greater good.
