Isaiah 61:1-2

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;"

The day that Christ stood in the synagogue in Nazareth and quoted Isaiah, He left off the second half of vs 2, "... and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn."

He didn't come the first time to fulfill this, this will be fulfilled at His Second Coming. He will execute vengeance and comfort all that mourn.

Scholars say the day He quoted this from Isaiah in the synagogue at Nazareth, It was the first sabbath of the year of Jubilee.
