Luke 5:20 -- "And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man thy sins are forgiven thee."
Whose faith was Jesus referring to? The men who tore up the housetop to place the man with palsy before Jesus? The man with palsy? Or was it both of them?
Your thoughts?
Well the masculine plural pronoun should be a clue, Jesus is seeing the faith of the man and his friends. The faith that they believed Jesus could heal this man and acted on his behalf, anticipating Jesus' healing.
