His grandfather and grandmother were Christians.

It is estimated that Kim Il-sung murdered 1.6 million of his people. He died. His son Kim Jong Il is now in power. During his dictatorship so far,

So, in summary, two Christian grandparents raised their son in a Christian home. He grew up and denounced Christianity to become a Communist atheist and murdered an estimated 1.6 million people. His son, the present dictator, has tortured and murdered from 1-2 million people.

This is truly sad. Very sad.:tear:

I credit Eliyahu for mentioning this in another thread, so I researched it & thought I'd post this here for those who don't know. I praise God that one day He will wipe away all tears.

There were many Christans in Pyong Yang area during 1910-1945, some of them might have been born-again believers, the others not.

The step-brother( Kim, Bok-Nam) of Kim Jung-Il was apparently Christian. He confessed about his salvation, and testified in South Korea. He told that he could barely escape the arrest by the security forces in NK and went to Manchuria.

There are still many underground Christians in North Korea, confessing Jesus Christ as their savior, the forgiveness by the blood of Christ.

The most Bibles were started from North Korea around 1900.

Thanks for your reply. I hope we will remember these North Korean underground Christians in prayer, and also those who are suffering in NK prisons right now because they love Jesus Christ.
