This Story Disgusts Me

    A former clergyman who admitted trying to con two elderly worshippers out of almost £300,000 has avoided jail. Tony Craggs, 43, of Bright Street, Blackpool, was a minister at Charlesworth Congregational Church near Glossop, Derbyshire.

    He forged a dying woman's will so he would inherit her house and gave himself power of attorney for another woman, Nottingham Crown Court heard.

    Avoided jail and sent to the cemetary might have been ok - but, to put him out on the street and let him con others is not judicial prudence.

    IMHO.
