    I've been a tech for a long time but in the recent months started building church websites just for fun. Any constructive criticism is always welcome, keep in mind broadband and 1024 resolution are ideal(I know the books say 800x600 and build for dialup,sorry).

    You have a link regarding your splash at blora.
    Does this mean party/get together? or news?
    Just wondering what the term means in the US.

    BLORA means Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area. They have boats and waterslides, swimming, fishing ect.. We had church out at the lake, baptisms and all. The brought the band, food and everything else for a day at the lake. It was a combination of church and recreation.

    Splash was term I used, it means to jump in and water goes everywhere. I used it as american slang.

    I was wondering about the meaning of splash in terms of American slang. Ie if it could be used to describe one's news or report.

    I am on dial-up and the sites seemed to load fine.

    It could, American speak is not the queens english.

    Breaking news is more commonly referred to as News Flash, I'd be more inclined to use it in water related activities.
