The Methodist Church in England now claims that ministers should avoid using the terms “husband” and “wife” because it conveys an assumption that is not “the reality for many people”.

This church denomination is dead, dead, dead… and the RCC isn’t far behind.

if it provides no fruit it is to be cut down because you art dead. see Revelation 3:1

Do any of these "ministers" even read the bible?

If you are not a husband, and you are not a wife, then the Scriptures that apply to a husband or a wife must not apply to you.

Also, the benefits of being a husband, or a wife, are not yours to enjoy.
