Looks like y'alls down in Blacksburg area still runs! I love the sound of a steam engine, train or tractor, don't matter.

We used to have the Virginia Creeper here in my home. Train would run clear from Damascus, VA to Whitetop, VA, then down yonder to Tuckerdale, Lansing, the Jeffersons and on over to Todd. The Whitetop station was the highest standard gauge railroad east of the Rockies. It'll be pouring down the snow here at my home and at Whitetop and Mt. Rogers and then be nothing but rain down in Damascus, Mountain City and Jefferson.

Your channel looks like something out of my neck of the woods with the picking and grinning mixed in with sermons!

Here's one massive steam engine tractor pulling the tractor pull sled clear across the ground. Insane amount of torque:

They may be the coolest thing I’ve seen in years. Steam powered tractors! Wow!!! Thanks for sharing.

Question. Do they have any electric battery tractors at those tractor pulls?

peace to you

The NS train engines really labor moving the coal from the New River and over the mountain here in Montgomery County Virginia. I can hear those engines going over the mountain laying on my bed. You can see the train engine putting sand on the tracks as he labors over the mountain...

Enjoyed the train, the tunnel, the singing... but what language is that? :Wink
