Tooth Infection

I have had an infection in my tooth, which had spread to my eyelid and caused my face to swell. Much of my face is still swollen.

The dentist prescribed me an antibiotic, which I've been on for two days now, but I still have a bad infection.

How do I know that it's not a sinus infection in addition to a tooth problem? How much longer do I have to wait for the infection to go away?

Please pray for me. Much of the time the infection causes me pain I don't want to deal with, and I have more than three bad teeth right now. I need about four operations.

Thank you.

I'm not a doctor, but I've had bad tooth infections and bad sinus infections. Both prescribed the same antibiotic for me. I can say two days of antibiotics isn't enough.

Antibiotics will work at the infection whether it’s around a tooth or in a sinus.
It does take awhile.
Once the infection is cleared up the dentist will have to deal with the cause of the infection, with either a cap, a root canal or an extraction.

It’s strange how such a small thing as a tooth can cause such a large pain.

Praying for a rapid comfort, brother.

C.T. scan of sinuses is only real way to know.

Sinus infection? Used to get them twice a year because of allergies. Once in the spring, once in the fall. Each lasted 6 months.

Only thing that helps is hot salt water. Got a baby bobber (to suck snot out of a baby’s nose), cut the tip off, filled with hot salt water, insert into one nostril, hold the other shut, hold your breath and squeeze…. Blow toxic waste out of sinuses.

Repeat often, several times a day until sinuses are clear. Good luck

peace to you

If, by using the name G you are addressing me, I will answer by saying that the swelling has gone down and I have had two operations on my teeth, but not on the teeth that caused the swelling, on which the dentists will operate during my subsequent appointments.
