    Not exactly an insect joke, but ...

    A man looked out onto his deck and saw a snail crawling up the stem of one of his plants. He went outside, grabbed the snail and threw it as far as he could.

    Ten years later, he heard a tapping on his window. He went outside and saw a very angry snail, who looked up at him.

    "HEY!" the snail snarled. "What'd'ja do that for?"
