Trans Texas Corridor plans may reveal plan for entire highway.

"Over 175 landowners filed Open Records Requests with the Texas Department of Transportation demanding the state agency release 200 pages they have kept from the public for over a year. In 2005, the state Attorney General, Greg Abbott, ruled the signed contract between the Spanish corporation Cintra-Zachry and TxDoT to construct the Trans Texas Corridor, a 1,200 foot wide, 4,000 mile long, 146 acres per mile super highway was a final contract and could not be withheld from the public."

In my opinion this highway will be the originating point of much future damage to America be it economically or by violent means that would allow terrorists and violent elements from Mexico and South America to enter our country simply by means of expanded traffic. Simply another facet of turning us into a third world country and shifting the control of world power back to Europe.

    Even so come Lord Jesus.

You sure read a lot between the lines over a new highway.

I-69 is slated to be built from Laredo up current US 59 to Houston and up to the north. The Gulf to Rockies Highway is supposed to go from around Corpus Christi to Denver, incorporating I-27, the short Interstate between Amarillo and Lubbock. These are needed highway routes. Nothing sinister about them.

They gotta add highways to make it safe for all those snow birds coming down from Oklahoma . . .

Not that they drive badly while in Texas or anything like that, but they do not drive like that back home.

My understanding is that this highway will run all the way to Canada with a neutral international truck stop in Kansas City, Mo. where other nations will be able to send workers who are not citizens and who will be exept from our laws while in that neutral zone. The highway when completed will be be the product of and under the control of NAFTA.

I realize part of this is railway but trucks will be getting the product to the railways and away from.
