His words are despicable. And I am glad someone reached out to him and talked to him about it. However, I think there are some who want this event to be bigger than what it deserves because of hatred of him. Trump has flaws to be sure. Trump obviously should not use such language, but he may have been under the mistaken impression that the previous president had somehow legitimized its use.

No, Mr. President, the rule seems to be that only a president's pastor can use it, but he must really mean it, and must use it only about America because he hates America. And if used repeatedly, it helps to be a minority.
